Looking at which Markdown gem to use in a new project. There seem to be so many gems, many with large numbers of downloads.
My priorities are ease of use and compatibility with latest rails and semi-obviously not adding ages to model save time but I doubt many if any of them do that. For something which is such a presentation concern I would like it to be as simple as render_markdown(input) or similar once the gem is in my gemfile.
