Design Brief: Plaid Events

(Brian Temple) #1

A brief summary of the business / site goals.

Plaid events is a simple way to share photos around an event. Instead of individual users taking pictures, uploading them to a service, tagging them, and hoping no other people don’t use the same tags - users find events that are going on right now where they are physically located, and all pictures are immediately added to that event and to their personal camera roll. (So they can be uploaded to facebook/flickr/picassa/photobucket like normal) The event can later be easily shared on the web / through social media.

The key users.

Party/concert goers: Want to create and share memories of an event.

Scenarios in which your app or site will be used.

In-venue for concerts/parties using the mobile app. Finding events, viewing all photos, and taking photos should all take place within only a couple touches of the phone.

Social media/web to share the great times being had.

Design style principles to follow.

Simple
Clean
Fun/lighthearted
