Plaid events is a simple way to share photos around an event. Instead of individual users taking pictures, uploading them to a service, tagging them, and hoping no other people don’t use the same tags - users find events that are going on right now where they are physically located, and all pictures are immediately added to that event and to their personal camera roll. (So they can be uploaded to facebook/flickr/picassa/photobucket like normal) The event can later be easily shared on the web / through social media.
