Continuing the discussion from What new trails would you like to see?:
The “Learn JS” trail is just a collection of resources which anyone can find on the web. Ideally I would love to see a comprehensive JS trail that assumes we are working within a Rails context. It would be great to weave in the asset-pipeline discussion there, and then after the fundamentals are covered then transition to how JS frameworks fit in and how they are different from regular jQuery written in .js.erb files within the Rails app.
