When I tried creating my previous post, I cut/pasted text from my notes, then highlighted a section of that text and clicked on the “Code Sample” icon. No matter what I tried, it never reformatted the text in the preview. I finally just made it a “BlockQuote” and that worked. Don’t know if that’s a transient issue (I’ve used code sample successfully before this) or if it’s an artifact of cut/paste out of vim or …?
Hmm. Not sure.
Might be a Discourse bug.
I’m hoping to bump us to the latest version on Friday, so maybe we’ll get lucky and that issue will disappear on its own
