Wow you are just cranking on this. Here are the things that jump out at me:

  • Don’t add letter-spacing to helvetica unless you are making it all caps. You can rely on helvetica having the proper letter-spacing.
  • In a few places you have a bunch of seemingly unnecessary line-hight. There a reason for this?
  • On the homepage there is still not a great realtionship between the ‘companies topics, people’ and the video above. Make this stronger
  • The dropdown is hard to parse through since its centered text.
  • You are varying your font-size and boldness a lot
  • Why are the quotes on the homepage in Georgia? They don’t really fit with everything else. Overall I think these are the weakest part of your homepage design right now
  • Seeing the white and the lighter gray on the subpages makes me wish the gray on the homepage was lighter or white too

I should say that I really enjoy how you have taken this style and owned it. I think you are doing a great job of iterating and refining it.

Cool docu about Helvetica from 2007:

Oh wow they put the full thing on youtube? Its a good watch for sure. I love Vignelli he is such an extremist when it comes to design.

I liked his interview the most. His desk was interesting too :]

Sorry that I couldn’t make it to our 15 minute Hangout today. Next week?
Have you posted the link to your LittleSnapper library somewhere?
