I’m using a forked version of GitHub - thoughtbot/dotfiles: A set of vim, zsh, git, and tmux configuration files. and am really enjoying it 
However, I had a lot of issues initially. For ex, on my iterm, I was using xterm without 256 color support and vim became totally unusable after I installed dotfiles. (because everything was gray including the text and background). I figured it out googling but it wasn’t an easy task. This is just one example but I had a few more issues. Now that I’ve found my answers, I wanted to contribute my findings to help people who are totally new to vim, iterm and tmux to find their way. Please enable wiki pages on the project so that I can contribute my findings or if there is any other better way, please let me know.
